The short version. We collect the minimum we need to run EVRY: your email, and optionally your car and region. We use it to run the app and to tell you about launch. We don't sell your data, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
You can ask us to see or delete your data at any time.
EVRY (evrywhere.dev) is an EV charging app based in Sydney, NSW. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
We don't collect your precise location unless your browser asks and you allow it to show nearby chargers. We don't store that location against your account.
If you choose "Continue with Google", we ask Google only for your email address, name and profile photo. We use these solely to create and identify your EVRY account.
We don't access your Gmail, contacts, calendar, Drive or any other Google data. We don't use Google user data for advertising, and we don't sell or transfer it to anyone. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
You can remove EVRY's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run EVRY, and only as needed:
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Our database is hosted in Sydney, Australia. Some providers, such as Vercel and Google, may process data overseas, including in the United States. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. EVRY uses your browser's local storage only for essentials:
Map tiles and fonts load from CARTO and Google Fonts, which receive standard technical data such as your IP address when serving them.
We send sign-in links and service messages you need. If you join the waitlist, we'll email you about the NSW launch. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, in line with the Spam Act 2003.
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), authenticated database access and row-level security so that each account can only reach its own data.
We keep your information while your account or waitlist entry is active. We delete it within 30 days of a verified deletion request, unless the law requires us to keep something.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you updates. To do so, email hello@evrywhere.dev.

EVRY isn't intended for anyone under 18.
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. For significant changes, we'll let account holders know by email.
